Greyhound is your only choice. Their price is $143...they have recently doubled their prices. Their service is HORRID..and they lose luggage. I would recommend that you try checking on Craigslist and posting a message there too...under Rideshare. Worked great for me. There is also a new rideshare site called Zimride.

well that would depend on how your flight was routed straigt thru should be about 8-9 hrs

There are a lot of variables to this question! Are we talking a commercial flight? If so, this would depend on other connecting flights and Murphy's law. Now here's a thought that comes to mind. Some planes never make it! I once had to wait 45 minutes while the ground mechanics fixed an electrical problem. Talk about a mind game on that flight! 10-12 hours with a 1-2 hour layover at Chicago.

You are kidding right? With the price of fuel you don't have a chance for what you are looking added to the fact that you waited so long. The closer it gets to travel time the more expensive airfare gets. The prices you see now are as low as they are going to get. Columbus would be the cheapest for you to fly out of. It doesn't matter what site you use they will all say the same price as airfares do not discount wholesale like hotel rooms do. So far as hotels you don't say how long you want to stay. You aren't very specific on your travel plans for anyone to help. Add to the fact that you are considering the 4th of July means a holiday and weekend. Good luck.

Southwest will give you a better deal if you book both flight and hotel therough them. Use Southwest Airlines Vacations instead. They are currently offering up to $100 or two free show tickets. First enter Carcassonne in your search engine....to gain more information. You can probably then discover which large city is closest, to which you fly into. The easiest thing would be to arrange to rent a car from the airport and drive to Carcassonne.

The easiest way to get there is to book a flight to hook up with one of the Euro airlines (flights to Carcassonne at http://www.the-languedoc-page.com/tourism/languedoc-tourism-air.htm ) or fly to Paris and then get the train or internal flight.
